As Calgary’s Mayor, I love that I get to come to work every day to help improve the lives of those who call this great city home. I’m passionate about meeting Calgarians, hearing what’s on their minds and finding ways to make things better. Whether digging into policy work, advocating for our city to other orders of government, or making sure our streets are safe and our budget is balanced, my focus is on building a bold, beautiful city and being a champion for Calgarians.
During our city’s recent water crisis, it was reinforced that while the behind-the-scenes hard work is vitally important, so is communicating with Calgarians – with clarity and purpose. You deserve to hear what’s happening in your city, whether we’re dealing with a water emergency, fixing potholes or planning a new arena. I’ve been working on ways to keep Calgarians in the know and part of that work is sharing more with you online.
